TowerShot Privacy Policy
Effective July 20, 2026
TowerShot is designed to process screenshots, web captures, and screen recordings privately on your device.
Data collection
TowerShot does not create user accounts, display third-party advertising, track users, or collect personal data. Your selected media and stitched results are not uploaded to the developer or to third-party servers.
Photos access
TowerShot uses Apple’s Photos APIs only when you select screenshots or recordings, ask the app to find a newly created screen recording, save a result, or choose to delete original screenshots. If an item is stored in iCloud Photos, Apple may download it to your device for processing.
On-device library
Saved TowerShot results remain in the app’s local storage until you delete them or remove the app. Results separately saved to Photos are managed through Apple’s Photos app. The free completed-project count is stored locally and is not sent to the developer.
Web capture
A URL entered in TowerShot or shared from Safari is opened in an on-device web view and rendered locally. TowerShot does not send the URL or captured page to the developer. The website may receive normal web requests under its own privacy policy.
Purchases
TowerShot Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. TowerShot reads Apple’s verified entitlement to determine whether Pro is unlocked. The developer does not receive payment credentials.
